You are ENOUGH!

You are enough! We are often taught that we have to choose a career or work hard to amount to anything in life. When we realize that we are enough just as we are and those are beliefs we were fed then we free ourselves.

I have worked a regular job since I was 14 years old. I grew up with a father who literally worked himself into the grave. He did not know there was another way. The only reason he retired is because he was tired, depressed, and experiencing physical pain. I use to take pride in how hard I worked and saw that my work ethic came from him. Now I realize how much self sacrifice I was doing for all those years and how it was not serving me. Sometimes life has to get really uncomfortable before we are willing to make new choices, before we are willing to choose our self first.

Choosing our self first is not selfish. It is the most loving act you can do for others as well. It gives them permission to love the self too. It is imperative to have balance in our lives. My life had become so imbalanced that it created physical imbalance and when I stopped working hard I felt like I was going to lose my mind. It took time and a lot of forgiveness and compassion toward myself. Forgiveness came in once I realized how abusive and mean I had been to myself without realizing it. We get so use to our pain we do not even realize the pain we are in. Pain stems from beliefs we hold that determine how we perceive our reality which in turn elicits an emotional response to our reality. Emotion is a feedback system we were gifted to help us on our journey. Our beliefs can come from different places but many were taught by meaningful parents who were also taught by their meaningful parents. Three people can view a world event and each have a different experience based on the active belief patterns they individually hold. So one might see it as a blessing, one might see it as a disaster, and one may be apathetic.

When I started my self love project in January of last year it was intended to help me realize what it means to love the self. So far I have discovered that it encompasses so much more than just getting enough sleep or taking a vacation. First and foremost we must hold ourselves sacred in every moment. Without this we have nothing to offer another. It means holding boundaries when necessary, speaking from our heart to express our personal truth, and taking responsibility for every circumstance in our life. Even circumstances that appear to be caused by another but when we look deeper inside ourselves they actually exist because of our own coveting beliefs of insecurity and fear.

What have I discovered by holding myself sacred and making new choices in my life? This is a long list but the most important discovery so far was when I received a dream vision about 4-6 weeks into my time on Kauai. In this vision I could see myself and she/me was facing me. We had a conversation. She/I said, “I have a brain tumor.” I could feel she was not happy about this and held some guilt, she also was at peace with her diagnosis and had no fear. When I woke of course I was disturbed. I have prophetic visions/dream visions and sometimes it is about the collective and other times it is personal. It is a superpower that I have had for a long time but only recently began to discover its benefits. For years I shut down the ability because I was seeing natural disasters and felt powerless to do anything about it. Now it is becoming a tool and I am learning how it can help myself and others. I am not alone, you too may have this superpower. It is my belief that we can remember and develop our superpowers when we bring our attention within.

I now understand that during my stay on Kauai when I was feeling less than confident about myself and what I could possibly offer others my higher self wanted me to know another potential that could have occurred if I had not chosen myself first. The dream vision allowed me to realize how important and life altering a decision can be to choose the self. This also has opened more doors of my awareness in understanding how we jump timelines and shift our reality through choice but not just in the choice itself. What ever vibrations we are holding when the choice is made also factor into which timeline we will experience in the now.

In my world you and I are not human. We are only having a human experience. We are so much more diverse than just our skin color, culture, religion, or sexual preference. We are light beings made in the likeness of God who chose to have this experience on this planet to learn about the power of love. To live in an environment packed with duality and polarity so that we could experience all aspects of self then embrace them and love them. Then we become aware that we really are ENOUGH!
